Åse Hagerman was part of founding and directed two successful choruses in Region 32: Sunlight Chorus (from 1984-2004) and Alba Show Chorus (from 2004-2011). She became a member of Sweet Adeline’s 1980. She is a professional vocal teacher for both speach and singing, educated at the Stockholms Musikpedagogiska Institute. During the 90s Åse achieved Master Director-status and was asked to serve on the International Faculty in SAI. Åse has been coaching and teaching choruses and music staff around the world for many years. Her love for rhythm, expression and body language has become a role model for many choruses and directors.

Åsa Fagerström is the director and one of the founders of Alba Show Chorus. Before founding Alba in 2004, Åsa was a member, section leader and the assistant director of the SunLight Chorus together with Åse for 14 years. She has also been the Lead of the quartets Sudden Comfort and Matchbox since 1991. In EM in Bournemouth last year Alba Show Chorus landed in a honorable 5th place (out of 38 competing choruses). In October this year, Alba is going to compete at Internationals in St Louis. Åsa works as a song coach and therapist in her everyday life. But she has also been working with leadership and business management and development for more than 20 years, which has given her many years of experience when it comes to building well-being, successful and sustainable teams and organizations.
