. NORDIC LIGHT REGION #32 Nordic Light Region is an organisation for women singing barbershop in the Nordic countries. With a mind open to change, the music is being developed through education, personal development and public performances. Welcome to the Nordic Light Region's webpage! In NORDIC LIGHT REGION there are about 1000 registered singers. The first female barbershop chorus started in 1975. NORDIC LIGHT REGION is a part or Sweet Adelines International that consists of more than 600 choruses, 600-800 quartets and about 30 000 women singers. Every year NORDIC LIGHT REGION arranges: * Music School, education for all barbershop singers * Leader days, education for directors, choreografers and others * Regional Convent, competition for quartets and choruses
