Rönninge Show Chorus (RSC) is one of the world's best barbershop choruses with a broad and diverse repertoire. We sing everything from Christmas classics to jazzy Rat Pack arrangements, and perform at large concerts as well as minor company events. RSC was formed in 1983 and has had great success within the vocal genre barbershop, both regionally as well as at international championships. So far our greatest accomplishments are the double gold medals obtained in Honolulu, Hawaii, November 2013 and Las Vegas, October 2016 after having achieved the highest score ever awarded in a world championship and further, being the first time non-US chorus gold medalist.
The chorus strives to be unique and pioneering. Through strong community and a positive attitude, opportunity for development and creativity is provided. Our goal is to offer emotion, entertainment and show, at every occasion, combined with strong musicality and skill.
Apart from competitions in barbershop, the chorus annually performs at "Stjärnjul", the largest Christmas chorus concert in Stockholm, together with the male barbershop chorus The Entertainmen, and a few guest artists.
The musical leaders of Rönninge Show Chorus are Britt-Heléne Bonnedahl and Anna Alvring.
